Dr. Tazid Ali
Inquiring since childhood,
Meaning of own existence,
Even today, the mist persists,
A feeling of uncertainty engulfs,
Is it a huge nothingness?
Smiles lost lustre long back,
Even tears are dried off,
Starved of true friendship,
Whom to trust and confide,
And outpour my inner feelings?
Peace, happiness and satisfaction,
Is what we want in life,
But mistrust, intolerance everywhere,
Absolutist around hold the attitude;
'I am right, you are wrong'.
Fed up with conforming to the conditioning,
Lost in the midst of rat race,
No passion, no expectations, no aspirations,
Disillusioned with life,
Yearning to bid good-bye.
